Install

Two ways to install.

Our catalogue has two kinds of product, and they install differently. Check which one you bought — it is written on every product page.

Type 1

Fusion effects (.drfx)

Social Guide, SloShutter Lite, SloShutter Pro, Tileazy.

  1. 01Quit DaVinci Resolve completely.
  2. 02Double-click the .drfx file and confirm the install dialog.
  3. 03Reopen Resolve.
  4. 04Find it under Effects → Fusion, in the NODEX folder.

Type 2

Workflow Integration (.zip)

Color Pipeline.

  1. 01Quit DaVinci Resolve completely.
  2. 02Unzip the download.
  3. 03Copy the whole folder — not its contents — into the Workflow Integration Plugins directory below.
  4. 04Reopen Resolve and open it from Workspace → Workflow Integrations.

Requires StudioWorkflow Integrations do not exist in the free DaVinci Resolve. On the free edition the menu item is simply not there, and the plugin cannot run.

FAQ

When it doesn't show up

I can't find the effect
Fusion effects appear under Effects → Fusion, inside a folder called NODEX — not under Video Transitions or OpenFX. If the folder is missing, Resolve was open while you installed: quit it completely and reopen.
I updated Resolve and it disappeared
A major Resolve update writes a new support directory and does not always carry effects over. Double-click the .drfx again; nothing is lost and there is no second purchase.
Do I need Studio?
For Social Guide, SloShutter Lite and Tileazy, no — they run on the free DaVinci Resolve. Color Pipeline and SloShutter Pro require Studio, because they use Workflow Integrations and optical flow respectively. Both are marked STUDIO ONLY everywhere on this site.
Does it work on Windows?
Yes. Everything here is built and tested on both macOS and Windows. The only difference is the install path, listed above.
How do updates reach me?
Through the same Gumroad download link you already have. When we publish a new version Gumroad emails you, and the file at your original link is replaced. There is no extra cost and no separate updater.
